New Zealand Pacific Union Conference

NZPUC (22,617 members) serves New Zealand and Pacific Island nations outside PNG. Pacific Islander Adventist communities — Tongan, Samoan, Fijian — bring strong intergenerational faith traditions and higher retention patterns than Anglo New Zealand congregations.

NZPUC's 4.14% accession rate significantly outperforms AUC's 2.31%. Much of this growth is driven by Pacific Islander communities with strong evangelistic cultures and family-based faith transmission — patterns that LRP-019 identifies as transferable success factors.

NZPUC and AUC share a division, similar regulatory environments, and overlapping cultural communities. Systematic knowledge sharing — particularly around what makes Pacific Islander congregations grow — could benefit both unions.
